Blog Analysis

The blog I analyzed is titled "I Get Money...Oh Really?!" and it really just focuses on how people today spend the money they have on unnecessary things just for the sake of spending money. The author of the blog seems to be a female, who lives in an urban area, and between the ages of 19-24.She makes a statement that even though one may think he/she is rich and has all the money they need, there's no way possible they truly are.The author and I are similar in this way, we both agree that people will spend their money on things with little importance instead of saving it for something of greater value.I'm lead to believe that the author was being honest and genuine in her blog because she gave advice on better ways to invest money;she gave different alternatives that seemed to be well thought out.I think the writer's stated purpose for writing and maintaining this blog is to give food for thought;to be helpful. Her goal is to let people know how they spend their money and to help them figure out a way to spend their money wisely, which displays a form of trustworthiness and expertise.

I think this blog could be read by any and everyone, but it is mainly intended for people who get any kind of income/money.The author really doesn't get into who the blog is specifically for,it's just kind of implied. The only group I think this blog wouldn't apply to are people who don't have/get money. This blog is pretty well-rounded and diverse so it gets a good amount of visitors.I think visitors come to this blog to be both informed and confirmed. There is interaction on this blog, people leave comments and links and other responses on here.If you're someone who's concerned with economy and always looking for a way to save a penny or two, then this site would most likely appeal to you,but if you're completely opposite and don't care how you spend your money then this site isn't for you.I'm not a member of this site, but I do find that I have a lot in common with the blogger and her topic!

I think that the use of photos helped make this site more appealing, and she also used big bold word art too!The author spoke informally and used a lot of jargon. The blog was organized in a journal style, which made it very easy to follow and understand. There wasn't any advertising in this blog. The writer presents the information on the blog by using her own opinion. The content is believable because if you really read and understand what she's saying, you'll find that there's truth in what she says;IT'S REALITY!Readers are able to interact well with the content, because it's based off the way people spend money on a daily basis. While I was reading the blog I found myself evaluating the way I spend my money and how a lot of the things I spend my money on is so not worhth it!

The message of this blog is...STOP SPENDING YOUR MONEY STUPIDLY!!!I think the writer was trying to explain,if anything,in this blog. This message is balanced because it states a problem, then gives a solution; it doesn't just leave you hanging.I do think this message can be found problematic in some cases. Some people may find it difficult to stop spending money unnecessarily.I feel this blog is reality, which is why I feel I can believe and accept what I read about.
